I have loved taking pictures most of my life, so the journey to becoming a photographer has come naturally. I grew up riding horses and exploring the countryside on horseback. I loved photographing my horses and friends. These days, I love capturing the expressions and personalities of the people around me - especially the little people around me.
My "full-time" job is raising my 3 amazing kids. Wanting to take beautiful pictures of them was my inspiration for becoming a better photographer. One of my favorite things to do is look through our family photo albums with my kids. They love looking at their baby pictures and trying to guess who's who. It's sometimes bittersweet to see how much they've changed - and how quickly, but I love that photographs help us to remember those special moments in time.
Before I became a stay-at-home mom, I was a high school physics teacher and basketball/track coach. I truly enjoy being around kids of all ages - helping them relax and have fun during their photo sessions is one of my top priorities.
When I'm not taking pictures of my own kids, I love capturing moments and memories for friends and new faces as well. My favorite sessions are outdoors using natural light and God's beauty. My hobby has turned into something greater than I could have ever imagined.
